Why not using a dmr or sr? Spray at long range is useless... max taking low damage and it drains ammo fast
@hhamoud442 ай бұрын
I agree it drains ammo fast, but it’s worth it. Scoped ARs allow for more aggressive plays, especially when challenging another squad for a better position. If they have DMR/SR, you can challenge them while closing the distance. If you only stick to long range engagement, then yes, scoped AR will underperform. In mid range fights, you have the upper hand no question, and get a knock or two before engaging in CQC which can be 50-50. This wins you fights and better positions.

Ive noticed alot of console players often dont run DMRs or snipers, even on big open maps. They just run an AR with a scope and a shotgun or smg. Why do you think that is?

I played a little bit of PUBG steam and let me tell you, it’s a completely different experience on console. Here’s why: 1- Console graphics are bad 30fps for ps4 and 60 for ps4 pro/ ps5. Some people (including me) can’t see clearly with a red dot so they run shotguns or smgs (for hipfire) for CQC. 2- if you can control the recoil, Scope sprays are OP vs red dots in mid range fights. Which is why you see scoped ARs. 3- tracking and peeking with DMRs/ SRs is easier on PC. PUBG console has no aim assist, which makes tracking challenging. Newer players running DMRs get shredded by scope ARs or simply get sniped for standing still for too long trying to shoot a DMR. 4- A good recoil control on a scoped AR can challenge DMRs from distance and i think that’s a major issue in PUBG console. I have to say that not a lot of players can do that though. 5- gunfights are a lot smoother on PC, console CQC can feel messy at times. Hipfire / shotguns can help end the fights quicker These are few thoughts on top of my head, im sure there’s more

@@hhamoud44 That makes alot of sense. Im a console player but im very bad. Im trying to get better by watching console players and pc players and I noticed a few differences early on. My AR/scope game needs work. Ive found your channel recently and its been helpful. Thanks.

@WorthyAdversary I’m happy to help buddy. If you’re new, i’d say don’t run scope AR before you spend some time in the training mode. Otherwise, it will get you killed a lot. You can get used to the UMP, it’s a great weapon for new players. A good way to practice would be TDM mode. Let me know if u have questions, happy to help.

@@hhamoud44 im not new, ive been playing off and on since season 9. My biggest deficit is audio. My hearing is not great from playing in loud rock bands my whole life. That and i keep changing my controls. I recently moved the lean bumpers to the d pad. It actually works well on the xb controller. What button layout do you use?
@hhamoud443 ай бұрын
Oh i see! Band is cool though! I use the claw technique when holding a controller, my index and middle fingers ret in L1/ L2 and R1/R2 bumpers. I prefer not to take my thumbs off the left and right sticks as much as possible, so I use R1 and L1 to lean right and left.

Great job!! Very good use of knowing when to play it slow, and when to push.
