I have a tip which I found very effective. Whenever some thoughts come to my mind other than what I am studying I'll just write it down in a separate paper. Not complete thing, just a key word of that thought. And then I'll go back to my studies. This will help to get an assurance that I'll think about it later when I am free and my mind will agree that. So that I can continue the studies peacefully. It's difficult but found very effective when practiced. Try if anybody is interested..
