Thank you so much, I'll be going to the university in few weeks and I've really heard a lot of "...law is this and that, you have to do this, you have to do that...." and all but listening to you is such a huge relief. Thank you! I will not take this for granted.

Thanks a lot for this, I really needed this, I'm going to year 3, my first year was good for me but then year 2 came everything just crashed down bad, I'm a slow learner it's difficult for me to catch up, my last result was shockingly so bad that I still can't believe it's my result😅 I was really hoping to get motivated in some way, I really want to graduate with first class coz it's just me and God at this point 🙏 I'll keep trying and hope I'm able to catch up, I hope for the sake of students like me you make more videos that helps us, thanks a lot🙂

First of all, you are not a slow learner. Renew your mind and perspective and be intentional with what you label yourself as because it can become your reality. At the moment, you may be experiencing some difficulty, but it doesn’t make you a slow learner. I will say pace yourself and take it one step at a time. Your “why” is the first class grade so you need to push yourself and give it your all. God is with you. 🙏🏾If you want to speak more, you can send me an email.

Thank you for this! I will be going to university in few weeks. I’m excited but at the same time, terrified. My parents are expecting utmost excellency in my results. Can you give a study routine to cope with everything?
@RachelEyo
@RachelEyo 2 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Congratulations in advance. I think that in time, you’ll find a study routine that works for you and just you. I’ll only advise that if you can, try and read ahead of the class or do a revision when you get back from lectures. If you can’t do during the week, then on the weekend is fine. But just make sure you balance it up and have a life and also attend classes no matter what.

This is really helpful What books are required for law student to read before school
@RachelEyo
@RachelEyo 6 ай бұрын
Glad to know! You will receive a list of books (a reading list) when you start school so I would not worry too much about that before school, but if you have some time you can go to a bookstore and purchase any books on any law topics that interest you.

I joined classes yesterday but am not getting anything 😢. I joined too late and am a first year student, so am confused, I don't know if I will catch up
@RachelEyo
@RachelEyo 3 ай бұрын
You will catch up. Give it some time. Make sure you copy notes from others who joined on time and stay longer reading and revising what has been taught. If you have any questions you can ask any of your colleagues or classmates. Don’t worry, you’ll definitely catch up. Just remain positive and keep your head up. God is with you :)

Hi! Thank you for this. But how do i make notes on courses the teacher doesn't dictate notes on. I mean it's really stressing my mind and exams are fast approaching. Is it that i should use more than one textbook to make the notes because I'll be tempted to read while trying to make notes and at the end of the day get tired and bored. Please help me. Could you please make a video on how to make notes? It'll be very helpful. I'm in 100 Level
@RachelEyo
@RachelEyo 6 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your question. I will be sure to make a video on this. Hope your exams went well and you were not too stressed out. In the meantime, I suggest, taking down bullet points on important things your lecturer says and bullet points from your reading and studying. You may not need to have well developed notes for some courses as long as you understand the principles being taught and can articulate them on paper in your own words and in a way that makes sense.
