Thanks for all the videos Muzza. Took your advice and headed to KW tours when we arrived and booked a few tours. Can honestly say service was first class from start to finish. Komang was out driver for 4 days and was a thoroughly nice young chap. Would highly recommned KW Tours to anyone looking for tours, drivers, airport pick ups or drop offs or anything else to be honest. All the best from Scotland UK 🏴

Thanks for mentioning tipping as well. That wasn't at the forefront of my mind but thanks to you ill be more mindful of it. don't think I ever would have thought to tip traffick folks. Going to stuff a bunch of 10,000 notes in my pocket wherever I go now!

Also, when you take your money from an ATM or do a money exchange, take out what you think you won't spend and put it away on your person somewhere safe, and keep what you think you'll spend in your pocket or whatever. Also, don't forget to notify your bank (online) when and how long you will be overseas before you leave, just to make sure your card will work and the bank knows it's you making the transactions.

Nice video there, think you intended to cover where its best to stay to do most of the touring,I know how difficult it is coming from south to north. Its probably easier at the moment with less traffic....I think someone should even be running a boat from Kuta/Seminyak to Canggu as that traffic gets horrendous.....everyone knows to start your tour days early......not like 10 a.m....Cheers,looking forward to your next one.....getting there for hols in June and October.

Brilliant video, hoping to get over to help the locals-seems very tough on them! Any ideas how/whom we can check about visas and pcr testing as get conflicting information? It says a negative PCR is to be taken max of 48 hours before your departure of origin (we live in Uk), but if we have to transition through other countries with 1 to 2 stops (eg self transfers which requires going through security to collect out checked luggage and re check in-as there are no direct flights) would we require further PCR tests at the other airports for the airlines? We appreciate additional visas may be required. Or should we only book “connect in airports “ flights like on Skyscanner therefore baggage is automatically transferred via airlines and no need to enter security? Some total journeys one way could take us up to 24 hours. Adults are all double jabbed with booster and child double jabbed TIA

People in Indonesia most of them able to pay 1 year or 2 years rent in advance so if they lost their jobs they still have place to stay Not like in Australia most people pay fortnightly or monthly rent and live pay cheque to pay cheque

@@MurrayWilkinson1 No that's far from reality I used to live there for many years and I know the culture, language and society very well Indonesian have very strong family structure and helping each other When though time comes The houses for Local still alot more affordable to buy for normal people, savings rate alot better and mortgage usually around 10-15 years , things like going out , helper around the house, going salon are normal things to do Not like Australia house unaffordable for normal people, mortgage 30 years, eating out, salon and house helper is a luxury, need to have both parents to work only to manage house repayment, salon , eating out all are luxury for average family Indonesian maybe 3rd world but country but the quality of life can't be compared , people are alot more happyer Compare to Australia where people are stressed just to manage daily expenses

Technically you have to have a mask on when outside unless. you are eating etc they used to be quite tight with it but these days they don't seem to be worried.you need to still have one with you at all times, any mask. No special type etc and won't get into a mall or large store without one

Kool i just become a. New sub i was in Seminyak 4 years ago had a really nice villas with the Mrs but the town of Seminyak had virtually nothing there now we’re going back again wanted to know is Blue bird the best taxis to get and does my Aussie SIM card work over there last time i couldn’t and ended up buying a sim and got ripped off so is it better just to take my Oz SIM card and put Roaming on before i leave what’s your thoughts ? And in Seminyak that part of the island is located in Jakarta however is Bali on another island by it self sorry to ask so many questions last time we went to Mr potato head it was ok not really our scene were in our 50s and the age groups there were 20-30s idc but would rather go somewhere that has a good nightlife and some better shopping then Seminyak we would stay elsewhere however it seems the only place to get villas and decent price. We done Thailand 6 x Vietnam 3 x Cambodia 3 x and Hohn Kong 1 x so it will be our second time too Indonesia. I don’t mind hire a scooter in Thailand in Phuket not Bangkok But Indonesia traffic seemed so hectic we were travelling with the Hotel Bus and they only took us to Seminyak town quiet boring tbh there even the shopping there was hardly any knock off shops we found 3 and didn’t have much if you could hook us up with a decent driver i don’t mind throwing you something as well so over Sydney boring as bat shit here the city is a ghost town pass 6pm Monday too Thursday plus you need $500 just to go for dinner and drinks in Sydney over priced for rubbish btw does Indonesia have a Casino or some were to have a punt ? Cheers champ hope to hear back from ya!
