Awesome tips! I love my border maker! My tip is to punch with a piece of thin cardboard or card stock underneath, then can slightly bend it to easily throw away all those little pieces! Makes clean up easier!

Thanks so much for this video. Lots of new ideas. I especially love the technique for using those old border strips. I have a binder full of them from when I first started attending creative memories classes 15(?) years ago. Now that I've dusted everything off, this is a great way to use them! I agree about the aftermarket being crazy. I wanted that ornament cartridge but couldn't justify paying twice as much on ebay. Even the gears cartridge, which just sold out, is expensive on there. Learning to pay attention to last chance items!

Instead of post-its, I like to use the repositionable tape and adhere the strip to some cardstock.

I really like these techniques but I wished used a different inset punch on the card, just because I’d like to see different cartridges that are available.
@reginagoodman37923 жыл бұрын
Hi I just recently tried to use my bordermaker. I am having a difficult time, the paperwork gets stuck in the board maker and I am unable to move the cartridge to the next notch. The paper also gets stuck inside the cartridge. I am using bazzill card stock. Also when I order a cartridge how would I know which one is an Edge border as opposed to the Border that you would Adhere to a page. I have the medallion border Your video was very good. I just wish I can get it to work

How did you mark the 2” increments on the border maker?

How do you sore the border maker system and cartridges?
@katebach76994 жыл бұрын
I do think these borders are really nice looking however, I’m wondering how do you justify the cost? I’m looking into getting more decorative in my scrapbooking and I feel like I could do all this with a cricut machine and that would also allow me to do so much more. Is there a reason someone would want this instead?
@maureenp224811 ай бұрын
Probably 2 different reasons: 1. If you don't want to mess with computer software/want something easy to use that doesn't have a learning curve, or 2. If you plan to only use a few different types of borders, then this system would be cheaper.
