OK, let's get this straight - I loved this tutorial format since you started doing it, and today I was looking for a way to change the extrusion color of a text layer. and I thought, naah I won't find it here but then boom 1:14 - I learned about this add color to the Side thing. And there I was, thinking that you'll just apply a thin stroke to the shape thanks!

Is it possible to add a stroke to the extruded part of the shape? I applied a stroke to my shape but it only appears on the front surface, not the sides.

You can't do this with Cinema 4D render features, but you can add it with layer styles

no, only c4d. i can't figure out how to use extrudes AND have gradients on my 3d shape layers, c4d has extrudes, classic 3d has gradients.
