Based on what you said, sometimes it seems to decrease and increase the hump, which means that there is something that stressing your flowerhorn, it could be the water condition, water temperature, aquarium location those are possible reasons, did something happened before that you think cause it's stress? You are the one who can know the cause because you are the one taking care of it
