VERIFYING DMI POOL DATA FIX - CAN'T LOG INTO WINDOWS!!

I inadvertently found my fix: I'm not a geek, but I opened the computer, checked cables, they all appeared tight, didn't find a reset button but saw lots of dust. Blew it out. While reassembling the computer, it started up and before I could reconnect the keyboard and start jamming on f12, it booted up just fine. I concluded that the problem was dust. Thanks for leading me to the easy solution. Cheers.

Thanks! I took the side off my PC, cleared some dust, checked the connections. No joy. Then used F12 and selected the other drive. Not a boot disc. Restarted, letting it use the default drive and it actually booted this time 😁👍🏻

retinator 9921 If your keyboard isn’t getting power I highly recommend borrowing a keyboard with a PS2 connector (The old round keyboard connector found on your motherboard’s IO port at the back of your PC, usually towards the top). Sometimes Windows will stop recognizing USB inputs such as a keyboard or mouse, and this older PS2 port is an easy way to get around that. Hope it helps!

1. Reboot pc. 2. Enter BIOS. 3. This step may vary in different BIOS versions. In my case the PC had a Gigabyte motherboard: Select Interface of Integrated Peripherals from the main BIOS menu and locate the USB Keyboard Support option and set it to Enabled it. In case you use a different BIOS version try to search around - look also for "Legacy USB support" or "Legacy USB keyboard" and similar named options.

After watching this video, I figured out that my computer was trying to boot up from a USB Flash drive I had plugged in. All I did was unplug the flash drive and restarted, it booted right up. HaHa, so simple!

That is easy to fix in my case i have phoenix bios and i just need change ide to ahci cause pc canot read sata drives on ide mode .. and that cause my pc got stoked on dmi data pool . After make sone changes on my bios i clear fixed that by Changing that options . Before i've clean aös hardware and disconect and conect the conectors again and that problem stil continues but i look forward in bios for that problem i mentioned above .

I think I just fixed this by taking dust out of it check wires non lose then took all the dust out and that seem to do it 👍🏻

LOL I never had this problem until I owned a Gigabyte Board! What a pain in the ass this thing has been. Randomly gets stuck at the DMI screen at boot & tells me Bootmgr is missing. Windows 10 128Gig SSD, 2tb fire cuda hard drive, RX550 GPU, 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM, Hex Core 1090T black edition, motherboard gigabyte ga ma770t rev 1.1. I have a feeling if there was an OLD IDE Hard Drive plugged into it, this would not happen... It does not matter what settings I chose in the bios, it continues to randomly happen. I updated the bios from f4 to f6 & seen some mild improvement but still happens randomly. the SATA Cables are new, the Motherboard is used & so is the SSD so I can nopt completely rule them out but this is most likely a bios problem with this Old Motherboard wanting an inferior IDE. I noticed if I hit Enter at the DMI Scan Screen I can skip it & it goes straight to Windows, which is good but i can't sell this Retro PC to anyone with a random boot issue like this.

I appreciate you doing this video but none of this helped. Mine asks for a disc even though I have it set not to. And when I do the f12 trick and select hard drive it doesn't give me any option to select any particular hard drive. And a cursor just sits on the screen forever. This is not the first time I have had this problem with the gigabyte motherboards. The one I'm having trouble now is a brand new board. The first thing I had trouble with initially was just installing Windows. It would not read my disc's even though in the bios it shows all the proper hardware. Then when I finally get windows installed I get this stupid verifying pool data or whatever it's called. I never had any problems with Intel mb. All my AMD systems gave me some kind of problem.
