Keep it as close to the original in terms of meaning and 2. Ensure ppl get the feel that the song was sung in 9th century AD

@@kishorekarkala1790 i am a composer also..a big fan of rahman sir.. but still i will say rahman sir lacks the simplicity and edgeness which is possessed by keeravani nowadays.. for example this antara drags the same phrase again and again until it feels exhausted.. thats why the antara melody is forgettable.. only the sthayi is beautiful but there is no surprise element in the melody, unlike his songs from guru or roja used to have.. rahman is master of tonal harmony.. thats why only strong harmony made this mediocre tune elevated... but here in the arrangement the counterpoints are really awesome, reminding like that of legendary salil chowdhury countermelodies..
