I agree of course but I have a ‘cousin’ who is not at all blood related, they are more like family friends. We are the exact same age and only met when we were around 8. He’s really kind, smart, funny and good looking. Basically everything I would want in a guy. But I’m not delusional enough to think it could work! I don’t have a crush on him because it is still wayyy too close to incest (in my mind at least) but I appreciate his admirable qualities and we can remain friends without me feeling at all awkward. I feel to him in a similar way I do to my female cousins, I find them beautiful, nice and I admire them and wish them the best in future relationships.
