If you like good worldbuilding and are considering reading Sanderson, I would heavily recommend reading Stormlight Archives. I'm currently reading the 4th book in the series and it's easily one of my favorite fantasy series ever. The worldbuilding and the character development is amazing.
@stephengrant48418 ай бұрын
For Sanderson I always recommend people start with Mistborn. Same style of worldbuilding and magic, just...a lot easier to digest for someone relatively new to that kind of epic fantasy.

Mistborn is alright but, in MY opinion, you should read Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series! There are 4 books out, so far, and each one is roughly 1,300 pages, average, and there are going to be 6 more. Phenomenal, so far ... speaking of fantastic world building!

Yesss I love the book-chats! I totally agree with the fantasy without romance (or romance as a smaller plot element) is better than the “romantasy” book in my opinion. I’m hoping to read Brandon Sanderson soon, but I’m currently reading The Wheel of Time series, so I’m trying to take it one big fantasy series at a time 😂

Been really reading recently mostly anything related to self growth, improvement, wealth, philosophy, and psychology. I am way into those topics right now also makes me wonder why schools rarely teach Philosophy for instance since there is so much in there that would be beneficial to living a good life. I am still on Frankenstein but I love the book version so far. Feels way more deep in terms of the characters and the plot compared to the really old movie in the early 1900s that was made of it.
