Seems like to me only a fool would not. I guess it depends on what you are in there for. If you're in there to try to prove to the crowd what an (undefined) man you are how courageously you can lose, go ahead and fight the other fighters fight and take the loss. But if your goal is to advance up through the ranks, and win the fight within the confines of the rules, and string along as many wins as you can in your career, the guy used a brilliant strategy and it paid off. He knew that young man would not be able to control his testosterone, and that he would have something to prove to the crowd instead of wanting the win so would break the rules just to show people "what he could have done." So really the guy fought a brilliant fight and won.

I don't understand the first fight. First off these guys are separated by 3 weight classes and secondly I cannot fault the smaller guy for running away when the bigger guy blitzed. I have never seen a ref hand out both cards in a single moment nor for something like that before.

In the third fight, the Referee should have made the Fighter (who had one knee on the mat) stand up. It was painfully obvious that it was a “Cheap Trick” to get a disqualification victory.

I said the same thing. But now I see that before the kick the other guy was stepping in, and as the kick did initially hit clean, I think it then deflected right up to the crotch. Not intentional and its odd to disqualify him unless there were other warnings. Humble and apologetic though.

Definitely. The referee should have given him more time to execute the gameplan he was using, as it was his safest and surest path to victory. The foundation n nature of that gameplan involved using time to his advantage to tire out giant opponent n that was taken away from him. That was tantamount to taking away his opponent's big muscles (yes, I know that's impossible, (just a "for instance" type thing") cause his power looked to be his gameplan.

I don't watch MMA, and I can understand that the rule about kicking a fighter while they're on their knees is there to protect them. That said, Anderson Silva in the 2nd clip was robbed in my opinion. The Oriental fighter was on his knees by choice, not because he was knocked down. In the 3rd clip, that clown chose to be on one knee in order to take advantage of the rule and eliminate a potential means of legal attack. He is the one who should have been disqualified.
