Chincoteague Island is located off the eastern shores of Virginia. We loved crossing the Chesapeake Bay and traveling through the tunnels to get to the islands of Chincoteague and Assateague. We were heading to meet with Amped to Glamp for their very first Meet & Greet. John and Sherri did an amazing job keeping us busy and entertained. Chincoteague Island is a small cozy island town with big flare and charm. So much to see and do here that we are contemplating coming back to do more. We stay at Sun Outdoors Chincoteague Bay, the campground had tiny cottages for those who are not traveling with their rig.
