Did you notice any loss of range with these tires?
@Jeff-zk8dh Жыл бұрын
@@1bottlefed I don't really track my range. I just enjoy the ride, go about 50 miles and stay out a few hours. Still love these tires. They show no signs of wear like the crappy stock tires.

@@Jeff-zk8dh Thanks for the quick reply Jeff, I read a review last night where some guy said he lost 50% of his range LOL this had me a little concerned as I had seen others claiming loss of speed. That said I did a test on my street using cruise control at 13mph and with the Chao Yangs my Wired Freedom came with it was using 288 watts with the HEBs it used 292 watts so virtually no difference.....However the handling and braking are night and day different not to mention I no longer have to worry about flats or blowouts from flimbsy ass junk tires with paper sidewalls and "rubber" that feels like its mixed with recycled garden hose.

I just put these tires on my Ariel Rider Grizzly. I had a burp/tear at the seam on my E Huntsmens Vee Tires. The HEB tires have a much thicker sidewall. The E Huntsmens have very flimsy sidewalls, and that is the problem as seen in photos on Amazon. The HEB tires were easy to install, and they ride great. If you are looking for a tire that is thicker than stock tires, but not as thick or heavy as motorcycle tires, these are a happy medium.

I just switched out the stock tires on mine for some "yunscm" branded tires that have that same tread pattern and thickness. Made a difference with speed for me as well. I was barely pushing 26 mph and now I'm getting 28 mph as well. I feel like running max 30 PSI tires over max 20 PSI tires makes a noticeable difference.

I was just looking at those on Amazon.

Yup I already got my rear punctured / flat in the rear when I was out riding on gravel bike path I had put in less than 20 miles total only had the bike 2x days so far. :X When I saw the hole in the tire yup it made me realize that the tires this thing came with are not only thin but seem to be made out of some sort of cheese I swear :P So I appreciate this video with this recomendation! Thank you!

I own this bike in 52v version. I have 185mi on it in 30 days. The display sucks. Battery life is about 75miles throttle only at 30mph. I'm 200 lbs. I live in a flat ground area. Headlight kept coming loose but I fixed it, however the light is brighter than any motorcycle i have owned. Brakes kinda of suck but work ok. All in all, it's been a great value. I would buy it again

That's pretty good considering your weight I have the A8 did 100 miles today with 2 bars left and that's with throttle only I weigh 125

How did you change the rear tire? I'm having such a hard time pulling the rim out and it's not moving an inch. A member in my group suggested to remove the brake caliper first. Well, that's bolted in there good.
@scooteronafarm10 ай бұрын
That is the only way you have to remove the brake caliper. Make sure you keep track of where the washers are located. When you do that. It is the only way to get the rear tire off.
@thoocas Жыл бұрын
Anyone knows what the rim inner width is? Those tires seem unnecessarily wide and I'd like to find out if narrower and higher pressure tires can be mounted.
@Kevin6t8 Жыл бұрын
These rims are designed for 4 inch, or 101.6mm tires/tyres. Hope this helps answer your question.

Is your bike the 45Ah or the 60Ah? Also do you know how I can bring the minimum seat height (seat to ground) down to 28” instead of 31.5”? Maybe cut off some of the seat post insert or the seat post and re weld?

Good review. So on standard 20×4 ebikes, the tire size should be at 22 or 24? Thanks
@scooteronafarm Жыл бұрын
With the OEM tires, set it at 22. If you upgrade to these there are larger tire. Even though they say the same size, you have to send it up to 23. Makes it really accurate. I highly recommend these tires are awesome

Did you look at any ''puncture proof flat resistant tires'' in that price range ?

Push down hard until you hear a click. Make sure the battery is lined up to the prongs on the bottom.
