‘Tired of not being listened to’: Farmers blast Labor for ‘listening to activists’

Australian Livestock Exporters Council CEO Mark Harvey-Sutton says farmers are “tired of not being listened to”.
His remarks come after Wednesday’s farmers’ rally which took place in Canberra.
“Today is not about political parties, it’s about the farmers,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We’ve got the ‘Keep the Sheep’ campaign, we’ve also partnered with the National Farmers’ Federation for the rally.
“It’s about sending a message that we’re tired of not being listened to.
“Farmers are great at their job, they’re professional, we have the knowledge and government’s just not listening to us, they’re listening to activists.”
