Excusing laziness due to the fact that updates are free(which is how nearly ALL games do it) is ignorant. Updates should be free, they’re updates not dlc’s. People like you are the reason we’re not gonna get the update, you validate lazy devs lmao

Just gotta have patience and try to have fun while waiting for it since stardew is still an amazing game even without 1.6 (console player and also just personal opinion that might help ❤)

Thanks for highlighting his messages here. I have both pc and mobile, and i don't have a problem with my current main game on my tablet with 1.5. It's fine, it's fun, it'll come out on mobile eventually.

Just wanted to come back and say CA just announced November 4th will be the release date of 1.6 for console. It's almost here!

A delayed release is good eventually, a rushed release is bad forever. ...that being said, if I could get confirmation on the Cowboy Poncho fix that'd be super. (can't manually fix it on console)

@@TheNerdLemon The deets for the Poncho, in case you don't know, is that it remains white after dyeing cause of a mistake in the code. (not a problem for the PC version cuz it's an easy fix, the wiki even tells people to just do it themselves)

That’s nothing but opinion. Look at cyberpunk 2077, one of the worst starts in history but now it’s one of the best RPG’s of our time. A delayed release isn’t “good eventually” delaying it while releasing it to other consoles does nothing but kill the fan base on other platforms. We’ve seen everything from the new update, there’s no point in playing as there isn’t anything new. It’s the same stuff we’ve seen the last 6 months lol. Ignorance is bliss though, keep validating shitty devs, it works!

I've played the current mobile version, and oh boy. It makes me want to pull my hair out with the amount of nonsense from it being touch screen based and the game breaking bugs (Cutscene that wouldn't load if not black out completely, forcing a day reset if not save state scumming) that happen in the game. Playing the PC after that feels like a whole new different world. I know the waiting can be unbearable, but I think there's a lot more going on with the other systems that's causing the delay than we thought.

Honestly, it sucks to play an outdated version of the game while everyone else is having fun. We ARE waiting, and even though we’re not happy with the situation, we all love and support ConcernedApe. That being said, making a video just to, idk , laugh at us while we wait is kind of… not… cool… at all. I would love to see future big updates not being released until they’ve been tested and are good to go on all platforms. That should solve the problem and give some perspective to a few of you, lol

I can definitely see a sense of FOMO developing from not being able to play the update yet. Especially since its been so long. Sorry that the video conveyed that tone. That is why I wanted to hear people that disagree with me. I sincerely want to improve my content and this kind of comment helps with that! ☺ Thats a great idea too! 😁

That’s a good point to bring out. Maybe Concerned Ape needs to tell everyone they can still play without the update! Maybe some people don’t know that! 😱

@@TheNerdLemon In their defense, 1.6 managed to be on par with 1.5 which many people thought impossible (disregarding all the mod support that was promised since that isn't a thing for consoles) so them being eager to play it isn't some big mystery or anything of the sort.
