I have been a dedicated follower of Bryce and Rasa since not long after they began their channel, there are several homes that I loved to revisit for the novelty, attention to the craftsmanship, decor, layout, cleverness, whether creating less is becomes less or is it truly more for her/him/them? Is the home comfortable inside and out, and is s/he, they having fun and reviving in their new lives. It is always such a pleasure to hear the magic words: "Can we go in and take a look?" 💜🥰💜

Spencer, you might think about making that outlet in the long bench a junction box and moving the outlet to the end of the bench. That way you can access it without having to move all the seat cushions around. Just cut through the end panel, put a face plate on it. Use conduit inside the box to protect the wire and enclose the elect. box with plywood panel. Make it easy to use.

They aren’t obligated to show us anything even tho they’ve been so public etc. if she has I hope it was a non eventful birth and all are home and healthy!

Hi Spencer ! The nook turned out nice, but with kids, that outlet's going to be where the kids can get at it, particularly with you planning to use it often I'm guessing. Two things that may help... a screwed in place cover on top, just a piece of plywood notched to fit around the outlet cover plate, and a notch for cables to pass upwards, and having that outlet controlled by a switch if possible so the power adapters aren't sitting there sucking juice when you don't need them to be hot (reducing charger lifetime), and just in case the kids mess with the cables when you're not looking (they will of course). For your rectangular steel posts you can treat the insides by just pushing/pulling a piece of sponge thoroughly wetted with paint or just a phosphoric acid rustproofing coating... pouring some additional paint, rustproofer on top of sponge will ensure it's well distributed and coated as you force it through. Maybe as a future upgrade, you could build a patio/gazebo with the solar panels as shades or roofing overhead ? If you need to access them to adjust, just stand on the picnic tables you'll have underneath along with a grill, ATV or tractor, or use the space for working on house projects.

C channel would've been a little easier to work with and to protect from moisture, but the tube is a much better choice in the long run. More precautions necessary to weather proof it, but it'll be there for your forever home..Great job

Just a thought if you are concerned about moisture in the metal tubes... a dozen years ago we used something similar and every time we drilled into the steel we inserted some high density foam filler into the tubing on both sides of the tubing. This sealed the remaining Tube spaces. If you feel an additional “plug, or seal” is needed, add a glop of grease or silicon caulk before inserting hardware. Spencer, Don't worry about the pivot points rusting. Weld a "rosette" where the pivot goes and use a bolt of your choice thru it, ( i.e. a piece of 1" x .250" wall DO.M tubing x 2 1/2" length, and a 1/2" bolt.) That way no moisture can get into the interior of the tubing. You weld 360* around the tube on each side of the 2" x 6" rectangular tube and no moisture! Steve

That went by so quickly; I was shocked when I heard the exit music come in. Also, I miss seeing Bear & Io. I guess they are hiding under the house from the heat.
