I try to avoid it when I can. I've messed my back up a couple of times getting engines up on the bench. The 450 in particular is a heavy one.

Modern tires aren't easy to get for old bikes. I always struggle with the process of matching tread style and width. Good luck!

Agreed. I settled on a pair of Duro HF314 tires. I have similar Duro tires on a few bikes and have been happy with them. With a little luck these will not present similar issues to the Dunlop tires and we can move on to more interesting things.
