Why do Spitfire string libraries have that weird slow attack? It's like every single note is a new beginning, and it's really hard to make a musical line sound like a line, rather that a whole bunch of individual notes.
@6695John13 Жыл бұрын
Most of their libraries have knobs for reducing the attack (usually called the "tightness" knob)

Use a sustain pedal, or fix it in post.
@raffaelem20059 күн бұрын
because they have awful legato lmaoooo
@MikJames-d1g9 күн бұрын
@raffaelem2005 Their legato patches are fine, it's the longs that have that godawful "suction" effect, and one way to avoid it is using a sustain pedal and adding reverb, or overlapping notes in post production.

Any chance of releasing a midi file for this track with settings description? I recently purchased Hans Zimmer strings, but can't get it anywhere near sounding this good haha.

@@tosvus you realize how much the vst costs? it costs the average salary for some countries, not everyone can easily afford it, especially if they know they're not gonna make a benefit from it, to be fair, hans zimmer's pack is made for professional use, if one isn't professional, there are plenty of affordable alternatives, maybe even free ones.
