Thank you for talking about this sad incident. May the dear girl rest in peace. I too faced the same issues in my marriage life. In this case, my husband said those words to me-exactly what her MIL said to her-was told by my husband. Both his parents were his enablers. I couldn’t take the mental torture any longer, therefore was forced to walk out of my matrimonial home with my infant child. I don’t want my son to grow up in such toxic upbringing, turning exactly how his family and my husband behaved. I need to make decisions to end the generational trauma.
