I have to say the performances from all four of the leads in this series showed the four of them in top form. I’ve always admired both First and Khaotung’s acting, but they went above and beyond here, with First really making us feel how upset he was in the hospital after Bison got shot, and then the sheer terror he felt having to jump in the ocean and remembering the plane crash that took his parents, that we now know he was present for. Khaotung displayed anger, disappointment, and nearly psychotic rage; when I think of the four series that I have seen him in, the range of characters he has played is breathtaking. Joong again impressed me with the layers of feeling he portrayed, and Dunk kept Style true to his extraness (if that isn’t a word it ought to be) while still making iclear his worry for Fadel’s well-being in the sincerity of his love for him. I really think this may be the best episode of the series so far.
