It does not need to be bolted and the manufacturer says it will hold wheels with a diameter of 13" - 22". We've seen these used with heavy bikes.

Does it have to be bolted on the trailer or will the weight of the bike hold it in place?

@Ericec4126 if you search jpcycles.com for "chain lock" or "cable lock" you will see a selection of locks that would accomplish this.

Do you sell any kind of lock so that I could lock the front tire to the stand with a lock ?

I’m quite surprised that this stand didn’t slide all over the place when removing the V-Strom from the stand.....

Must not have all that great? Not on the link below instead a couple other vaguely similar units I just ordered a different brand on Amazon for $35 delivered....if its no good I'll send it right back but it has decent reviews so we shall see....definately not the kind of thing I am willing to spend more than $100 on! But many of the cheap ones look like they would last forever for a non pro
