Well, Megamind is not a loser, he is a genius on technology and really infamous criminal, he never need money or power, he already had everything, his only motivation was Metroman... Contrary to Titan who never got anything good to begin with, he was living alone in a cheap department, got no friends, no girlfriend, has no skills, and even worse, he was the laughstock of everyone

My point was that realistically, both of them are squandering their gifts and abilities for small things. Megamind's genius could potentially do anything but all he ever wanted to do was cause a ruckus in Metro City and spar with Metro Man, it was his entire life

for Megamind stealing is part of the game, he doesn't care about the money or the crimes, he cares about Metroman fighting him and Metroman fights him when he steals or when he kidnaps Roxanne. After he defeats Metroman and steals all the money and the art, he isn't really happy.

I mean all his life Megamind believed that he was only meant to be seen as “the bad guy” cause that’s how society treated and leading him to believe that was his purpose in life. He didn’t believe he had a choice until Metro Man expressed how he was dealing with the same struggles as him! All he’s ever wanted was to fit in with society, and the fact he never held a grudge against humanity really speaks a lot about his character. He was never truly evil at heart.

I always like the plot, of this movie. You know, Megamind use to be a villain, but turns out to be true hero, And Titan as a hero and he turns out to be a Villain. I like that plot, it’s sort of the opposite.

The fact Hal became a villain all because some chick turned him down is next level of so down bad and pathetic as hell and ya wanna know what makes him even more pathetic is the fact there are legit men like him who exist and most likely would react the same way if they were given the powers he had. Which i can agree Hal was one of those ahead of his time types of characters who really showed what a "Nice guy" with superman powers would be like which in turn aside from him being so pathetic, he's even unforgettable
