One downside of any pickleball machine is that all balls originate from below the net.. it would be great if the machine had legs to bring it up above net height to feed horizontal balls to stimulate hands battles.

yes! great question. have your partner(s) stand next to the machine (or at the kitchen line) and hit your balls after you do (standing on opposite side of the net from the machine and partner) Example: Serve Return/ 4th shot drill 1. ball leaves machine (placed at baseline) 2. person 1 return from machine (standing at opposite baseline) 3. person 2 hits aggressive 4th shot volley ( helpful 4th shot tips:kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJyYpouNgJ2IZ6M) 4. person 3 drops to the kitchen

Depends on what you're looking for. Sling is portable but very simple with settings and features. If you want to set it and rep one shot at a time it will work fine. If you're looking to create more complex drill sequences you'll need to go with something like the Titan

I bought a spinshot and found a pretty easy hack. I had the yard game called "Kanjam". I took that "Kan" and sat it in the hopper. Holds a ton of them removable, cheap and portable.

Yes this is a question I have too. In order to simulate the type of game being played today, that is hard drives with top spin, you know bang, bang, one would have to raise the machine up to the level that would simulate that of a real player. I have played with the app and I don't see anything that would compensate for setting up for hard drives. That seems to me that you are relegated to fairly soft and easy shots rather than those which you can expect to receive from a skilled player who hits hard drives with top spin.

I have a Spinshot as well. Good machine. Really a great machine. I like the swappable batteries and the ball hopper of the Titan. The internal oscillation is nice too.

One or two major issues with this machine. They are on backorder with the fulfilment date of Apr 5, 2024 for Titan-One Pickle, and March 15, 2024 for other models. That’s a bit off knowing these machines are so high in demand that it may be on backorder when you order.
