One spot you missed: The quest related satyr brute right after Helios blocking the road. He has about a 10% chance of dropping the Stone hammer infrequent which is a very powerful club for early game. If you're lucky you can also get Brute's plate or some epics. You need to log off after each run to make him respawn but after you turn in the quest he won't respawn anymore so you should skip that one if you want to farm.

I agree. The quest is given by a traveler with a wagon who has medicines he needs to get through. You need to kill the Satyr, get the loot, and exit to main menu WITHOUT turning in the quest, or the Satyr Brute won't respawn again. Don't turn in the quest until you are done farming him. And while you are at it, if you go to the left as well, you can take out a graveyard filled with skeletons and plague birds. You can usually get an extra level or two here if you do both enough times.

What I do like about Titan Quest the most is that the mobs and mini-bosses can have on them equipped powerful weapons and most of the time I realize that when I notice my health going down faster than normal.

On Epic my favorite farming boss is Talos right in front of the Court of King Minos, pretty short run once you get the rebirth fountain at the start of the Minoan Labyrinth, on some rare occasions I got 2-3 legendaries out of his Majestic chest. A pretty rough boss for melee if your Stun/lightning resist is low, so stack up on those before taking him on.

Deathweaver Legtip is best farmed from the Spider Queen boss. The rebirth fountain is close. You can skip most spiders on the way. And she has 10x higher chance of dropping the weapon. If you’re strong you can also farm Shadow Maw for lupine claws and demons blood. Both you need later. (Typhon, and act 5 quest.) You might want to skip SM until you’re prepping for the assault on Typhon on Olympus.

Hmm, I would recommend doing Arachnae runs since she's so close to a rebirth fountain. I've dropped a ton of legtips from her while farming the chests. If you're specifically looking for the legtip and don't care about the chest, you can also just run up to her and see what kind of weapon she's holding. If it's not a legtip, just exit and run back up 👍

I got the double chest from the cyclops also and the club. Ive also got nearly all green or epic items on both my characters. They both are level 17. 1 is a ranger, other is a druid. I will make a warrior later too. This video is very helpful.

Hunters set items won't drop till act 3 ( www.tq-db.net/set/pride-of-the-jade-palace ) . For a new hunter starting out I would farm Centaurs/Nessus for Outriders tunic, buckler and spear, but the spear is far more rare. Then Gorgons for sentinels armbands or stonebinders cuffs. The queens can also drop good bows. Green Osprey rings have piercing damage and can drop anywhere, you might even find one on a trader.

If you want to farm Telkine in Act 1 you can activate the fountain after his boss fight. Then you go to the locked stone wall (that opens after you beat him) and reset your character with "K" From there on you will spawn in his boss room saving you the minotaur boss fight and way running to him.

Not anymore. That has been repurposed to take you to the active rebirth fountain. So reactivating the rebirth fountain by the Gorgon’s farming spot. (Last fountain before the Minotaur boss). The devs want to make us fight regular monsters too. I tend to clear the room and lure the Minotaur into the big room. His onslaught murders my characters, so I use the leash to do hit and run.

9:30 actually if you go to the door and press the "k" button on your keyboard you will respawn in the room with the bosses so it's better this way

Not since Dec 2021. This function now takes you to the active rebirth fountain. You can use this to farm the Boar Snatcher, the Fetid Lair (arachnos monster infrequents) and mage gear (undead summoner in nearby underground cave/tomb). Quick trips to town allow you to sell gear between each active part.

Farmed Nessus yesterday from lvl 40-42 on epic and got some sick loot..(10+epics 5 legendaries and a ton of greens.) always just killed him once but damn he got nice loots.

Nerfed, but still powerful for melee. Sapros also got nerfed, but still is great. I farm for Deathweaver Legtip from the Spider Queen, Sabretooth from the tigers from the rebirth fountain outside the Emperor’s cave exit. It’s 50/50 whether it drops on the way to the boss group for the sister’s quest, or the regular bosses along the way. The Asgard sword is the 3rd weapon I farm. And saldo the Fire Giants’ sword too. Amazing weapons!

Correction legendaries can drop on normal difficulties. I got the Troy shield on normal fighting Chiron. They just have a 0.0001% drop rate

Hi Game Attendant, sorry if my question won't be easy to understand, but english is not my native tongue (my native tongue is czech). But here we go. Did you notice (as I did for myself), that farming epic and legendaries, or better say, the RNG ( = random number generator) or the drops behave differently in TQ AE Ragnarök 1.57 from TQ IT 1.17a? Let me explain - in good old days, in TQ IT 1.17a, the best way to farm epic or legendary items was to start game in XmaX (x10), and just to move to Telkines, Hydra, Hades or Typhon and they always dropped some stuff. Let's say one epic / legendary per boss. It means at least three items per run. Farming regular monsters, bone piles or smaller chests was very obsolete. In TQ AE Ragnarök 1.57, it can very easily happen, that killing three Telkines grants you ZERO epic or legendaries. But than, you go outside the camp and you can drop three epic or legendary items from bone piles. It seems, that the overall number of epic or legendaries, generated by RNG is the same. But some items are dropped too much frequently and the distribution of the items is also altered. Chance to drop items on bosses (their orbs) and the biggest chests was very lowered and it has been boosted on regular monsters, quest rewards and small chests and bone piles. IT MAKES FARMING VERY DIFFICULT. Because there is no guaranteed place to farm, to reduce the time, spent on one farming run :-(

Yes! I haven't played for a long time but from what I've seen myself and heard from others is that boss drops were reduced drastically with the Ragnarok expansion.

I found the move over to the new edition a shell shock as I died more then I want to admit. What build do you recommend for a first romp through the remaster?

I'm working on some builds but they take a loooong time to test properly. Some good survivability combos are Warfare/Defense, Warfare/Nature, Defense/Nature. Thanks for the sub, TQ is number 2 on my all time favorites list.

I've been actually thinking about doing a Warfare/Defense but I couldn't remember how it dealt with late game. Warfare nature sounds interesting, as well as the Defense/Nature! Have you tried doing the specialist achievement? Only one mastery for normal? I have been trying to find a class to try for it.

I haven't tried it. I think a Nature wolf build could work pretty good. Buff the wolves with Heart of Oak, debuff the mobs with Plague and keep the wolves healed. I haven't used wolves on AE yet though so I'm not sure how they hold up in act 4.

Warfare would be a good choice too, but you might need to farm good gear. I going to try this with Nature also when I'm done with some other things.

For Zeus Thunderbolt act 1 bosses. The Telkine has the best relic drop chances. Minoan Labyrinth for Mechanical Parts. Metal Constructs and Traps. Spectral Matter drops most in act 2. Giza is about the best place. The ghosts around Pyramid of Khufu and Sandwraiths that pop out of the ground. The first room of the Sphinx also has ghosts. If you don't want to wait till you get to Giza, try farming the Rhakotis library, a couple rooms have ghosts. Good luck with Skyfire pendant.

Just to main menu. However it is believed that you might get locked into a loot table. Exiting to desktop would make the RNG pick another loot table. So if your getting unusually bad drop rates, then try exiting to desktop to get a different loot table.

Anniversary edition still has the same frame rate drop that the original had. In some places the game will stutter or freeze for a few seconds. I currently have an older I7 cpu with a gtx 980ti and 12 gb ram. But it runs about the same as it did on my old gt8800.

I got adamantine sickle of cronos from a telkine on normal difficulty it was purple dont know if its diffrent on console or if its the only legendary weapon u can get regardless of difficulty

Talos and the Telkine have similar drop rates which are much higher than the other bosses in act 1. Boar Snatcher would be next best after Talos and Telkine. Hydra is legendary only.

Yes! especially for classes that don't have skills to lower resistances. The problem is in AE it has -25% health penalty because they felt it was over powered.

Yes, Conquerer is one of the better classes for Sapros. Sapros is also good for dual wield paired with a fast weapon like Sabertooth. Those Rogue skills are still good. The confusion nerf (chance cut in half) to Mandrake is pretty noticeable though.

Sapros is good for rogue really? I thought rogue only gives bonuses to spears, swords and bows and maces would not benefit from sapros. The poison and bleeding damage in rogue are better now

Legendaries not dropping on normal? I'll call bs on that. You just need to be lvl 45 for the chance of them to drop. The drop rates on normal for Legendaries are abysmal but they can drop. I have had a few drop for me on normal.

Retaliation damage, is damage the monster takes when he hits you. If you have retaliation damage on several items then the effect can be pretty strong.

How do you get enemies to respawn? especially bosses

You have to exit the game to main menu. Everything will be respawned with the exception a some quest monsters. To change spawn cycles (like skeletons to Gorgons in Labyrinth) you need to exit to desktop and repeat until you get the desired spawn cycle.

Yes, Throwing Knives are my main attack. With 16 points (16/12) in the skill the cool down is completely removed

From what I understand, the mobile game is basically the original TQ which ended after the Typhon battle. So most of the information here will apply to it. Some item stats were adjusted for the anniversary edition.

Everything I was wearing came from act 1. The Deathweaver Legtip form the Arachnos caves in Tegea. Ardent Greaves from a chest in the Pythian caves. Sentinels Curiass came from a Gorgon in the same cave. The helm Helot's Rage I think came from Nessus, it can drop from any boss chest. Don't spend to much time farming act 1 though, the gear keeps getting better as you move on.

I forgot about the spear. It's Shadow Sting it also can drop in act 1. Any spear wielding monster can drop it or boss chests.
