Really interesting listening to Mr Lahe of Triton. I'd never go on a sub but its good to know someone out there is making them properly and maintaining safety checks

Ms. Wilby's testimony was both shocking and revealing. She seems credible, and her perception of the company's operations makes me see it being run like a cult.

Hagen: We cultivated a "perception" of safety with our "anomaly" and "strike" guidelines. Trump: We had "concepts of a plan."

2nd half was one of the most interesting witnesses who knows the industry and does it safely. Stark contrast to some of the oceangate customers who still drink the kool-aid. Focuses on safety, unlike the oceangate clients of day 3 who focused on how they all knew it was dangerous.

It was an interesting combination: a dude who thought nothing of the front end of the vehicle falling off and wanted to be onboard next time it went down and a guy who crossed every T and dotted every I as a professional submersible-builder.

Did they not listen to Patrick like at all at OceanGate? He is a literal walking knowledge book of how to do this correctly. Astounding they had intelligence like Lockridge and Patrick and completely ignored it.

Wtf is "Monkey work" on a submersible that is attempting to carry someone to the depths the Titanic is at??? I would want everyone who is touching anything on that submersible to be highly competent and a trained expert.

Innovation? Reckless incompetence.
@Sazbaz-avАй бұрын
It’s the complete opposite of innovation, isn’t it?! They under-engineered the sub and that is putting it politely. Name-dropping Boeing & NASA in their testimonies too. They un-learned everything NASA learned through any of their disasters and dismissed it all out of hand to build a toy sub.
@spookshow6999Ай бұрын
Why hasnt OSHA answered for letting this go on? Completely ignoring it.
@BruceAtWorkАй бұрын
It's coming. Since the testimony clearly showed that if they (OSHA) had taken Mr Lochridge's complaints seriously, it's logical to think that the Titan incident would likely have never happened.

Who was given the task of stopping them?
@777SI-gswАй бұрын
By launching from the sea where there are no set safety standards. Also by skirting the passenger being considered paying passengers. By calling them mission specialists they were able to classify them as employees who were aware of the danger.

All I can hear is this first guy nose-breathing and it is whistling.

I'm surprised that thing lasted 88 dives; it was a death trap!

They all have bottles of water that they swig from - how tacky and unprofessional. They should provide jugs of water and glass tumblers.

How is it yapping when this guy knows so much and has so much information. More interesting than yapping. This is not TikTok.
@BruceAtWorkАй бұрын
If not for his yapping, a lot more Titans would have happened well before this one. Learn some respect.
