ALL dev studios should PATCH this frequently, not let something broken or horrible remain in the game for three weeks or a month. WELL DONE!!!!! Keep the patches coming. Even a minor balance patch is a HUGE QOL for all players.

Heya! Hoping you guys bring back the 'k' screen from Smite 1. As it stands, getting info about what your abilities do in Smite 2 is a bit convoluted, since getting to the full, un-simplified info requires you to hover an ability and hold right-click. The 'k' screen was great for that stuff, since it allowed you to check all those stats + current cooldown and damage with just one button press. Hope to see it added to smite 2! 🙂

The console split store is really annoying how it will shift your cursor when you close it, or it will make you open it 2-3 times before it will let you buy an item again

Please update the ability screen to be more precise. You already have a ‘rundown’ page but the ‘more details’ page often isn’t giving all of the details. If it’s a WiP thing cool I understand but I should be able to see how things work. Ideally live updated in match to show scaling affected changes but at least in game. I definitely shouldn’t have to refer to patch notes or a dev stream to figure out exactly how an ability works

Regarding the upgrade ability screen/view on console. It should mirror that of Smite 1. You can not see valuable core information about each ability or it's scaling accurately. Past reading what the ability does, which is often apparent upon using them, the screen holds little value as it once did, to inform optimal leveling order and to display the potential damage per scaling, separate from the base values. This is important information for seeing statistical changes on the fly. I hope that the team will seek to work towards this in the near future. 47:14

i played a game today and nemesis 1 is completely bugged the first dash works perfect but the second one fails everytime its just studders in place up to three time then goes on cool down ijm sure uit will be patched soon and honestly not everyone is having this problem so it may be some thing on my end but i have a pretty good set up no frame dops nothing

I love these talks, but i really want to speak to what was brought up and has been brought up often, and that is SCOPE. The dev team is clearly aware of what part of the market smite occupies, and how small its reach truly is on a grand scale. But I really feel like this attitude will continue to be reductive for the health of the game and it's growth, especially as a game that basically relies on new players entering to survive. This is your second chance to grab the people who either never heard of smite or were turned off early because of how unforgiving the established playerbase is. You *have* to be flashy, you have to grab as many parts of the possible zeitgeist that was turned away from the perspective of League. If you are too afraid to strengthen the shell, the core will never truly be safe from bleeding. Deadlock, the boogeyman of this game's release, bled players because no matter how good the core was, being a new player had no saving grace since it wasnt pretty to look at, and no casual mode to catch those who bounce off the main mode. You have that net in your arena and slash modes.

Animations that add personality add value, it helps people gets more attached to the character/game. One of the main complaints for a while is that smite 2 felt like it had no soul. Lack of death animations and win/lose animations is part of that. Both of these lent to people becoming fans of smite characters (including denton) in the early days of the first game. I think god select intro animations would be a good enough replacement for win/lose anims and would be half the effort.

Yes bring back the pedestal it's so much better to see all the gods being picked and the skins they have. before the game is boring compared to smite 1 How is it going backwards The lore The end of match win or lose screen for each god Even announcer packs Just a big part of what makes smite smite imo

I could be blind, but if there is the option, I can't find the way to wipe the search bar in the item store quickly. Usually after I type an item in and buy it I may go to another tab to look for another item I may want to build and it comes up blank because the search bar still has the old item in it. Is there a way to quickly clear the search bar without highlighting it with the mouse and backspacing?

its impossible for them to record new lines, at least impossible from a logistic point of view. Attack the Pyromancer and Attack the Bull Demon would ve been added long ago if it was possible. I do find the VGS complete enough, together with 3D pings so you can Attack and ping who.

Can we get an option to choose between the old shop layout and the new 1 on consoles? Me and all my friends prefer the old layout but understand people like the new 1 as well so the choice to switch between the 2 would be very appreciated

Are you talking about new split store and old split store, or are you talking about the new console store and the PC layout store? You can change your store page in the UI settings to 3 types of PC layouts and the split option is the console layout, I personally prefer the centered option on console over the split store

I don't think having a separate queue would be good but one of the reasons for having draft in casual, besides avoiding mirror matches, is that you don't blindly pick a god and then realize the enemy team counters your pick. Bans shouldn't be in casual, but having an order for picking and seeing what gods the enemy has picked so far would be great.

Idk draft ends up having the problem of counters even worse. Instead of a gamble of a counter its almost guaranteed.

Question, can you do the system of comms like in lol, what i mean is that you can click tab, click on an item for example and that pops in chat like, anubis has chronos pendant or whatever, it would be great for example with active items, like enemy used active items you click it in the tab, info pops in the chat, and gives info, the same about ult or even your own stuff, items, skills, exp all that, and make a change about active items that when you use it, the icon pops instead of text pls, much simplier to remember and then give info what happended,love and appreciate your work, edit lol you actually mentioned it, did the comment even before watching the video, kinda sad about answer, but at least thanks for acknoledgment

The reddit is a terrible place for opinions on pretty much anything. It is *the* most stereotypical subreddit i have the misfortune of being a part of. I regularly forget how annoyingly negative and attention seeking the people there are and wind up there only to immediately regret my life choices for a few minutes. Aphro redesign looks incredible. I'm already bummed you guys listened to a bunch of people that *don't* play Mulan or know her lore about her design. I understand you need to get community sentiment from somewhere. But please don't bother listening to them too much.

VGS is the best way to get rid of in-game chat and text; they are so toxic. I am a very high-ranked Dota 2 player. You do not need voice comms or chat to play at a high level in a team game.
