Using an elite with bumper jumper. left paddle tactical, right paddle crouch. sensitivity at 6, but i don't recommend going that high if you plan on ads. I change sensitivity depending on the weapon i am using.

And this is how you'd use the grappling hook in the game it was taken from, Tribes Vengeance. Yes, slingshot was also there, but the biggest reason you'd use it (as it was taking one of two weapon slots) was to cut corners without losing any momentum and doing 180s on people chasing you.

Honestly its kind of weird cuz at least for me I picked it up and I loved it and got super high kill games for a while, after that I kind of dropped it and when I came back it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. for me at least I have phases where I use a gun for a while and don't use anything else, then I drop it for the next month. if you try to use the alternator a lot I'm sure you'll see its true potential lol

Adriel Torresola I've been messing around with guns I've never used before in Titanfall 2. I'm always scared of being the reason we lose, so I don't do it often unless I know without a doubt that it is useless like when I join a losing game late. It won't count against me and the score is too high to make a comeback so I'd mess around. I'm using the Cold War rn, it's so fun but has some BS moments when the other pilot is on like 1% health left...

It's like a whole new game. On that map with the infected mountains, there's about 4 drop ships between you and the enemy team. I always swing off them, and get too the enemy team 3.7 seconds into the map, whip out that wingman elite and go too town on people that just grabbed their controller. Try it yourself!

Not gonna lie, iniquity got me into using the grapple. ever since i started using it, i've averaged more kills per match. as you said in the beginning, i use it to get behind the other team in the beginning of the match and get a few surprise kills.

I think they should trash the grapple bcs of how broken it can be at times or try and fix it (Flying like super man) its cool with me they way he uses it.. maybe add a blink ability like in overwatch tracer or something like that idk just an idea. u should have to use the wall running to build up ur movement like in TF1

Would you recommend using hover with grapple? I feel it isn't that useful and that kill report or some other kit would be more of use, but at the same time I feel that extra air time could help me make corrections. What do you think?

This is a complicated question. Hover's utility is influenced by weapon type, tacticals, and momentum. I'm going to try and cover this ability in a future episode, hopefully in the near future.

Nice. You are amazing. But in my opinion I think that stim comes very close to grapple with the right class. I play as an aggressive character. I use stim to get in people’s faces with the r-97 and melt their faces or use the alternator and run around them while shooting them. It works pretty good and is super fun. In this game mobility is the key. The faster you go the better you are. Unless you are an titan. I use legion just to kill the other titans the get back on the ground killing more pilots after my legion dies.

phase shift is for escaping a situation so you can run away cloak is for being invisible while you run away grapple is for bamboozeling enemies while you run away stim is so you can sooper sanic fast run away a-wall is for putting down cover while you run away pulse is for seeing where enemies are so you can run away

I have a question and am a bit of a Titanfall noob. How do you always have it ready? It seems you never have it on cooldown

The grappling hook has 2 charges (sort of). Before you get down to the second charge you can spam it all you want. Once you get into the second charge then you are limited to only 1 use of the grapple till the charge goes back to above 1 charge. To conserve the charge and allow for spamming of the hook you need to manually disengage the hook so you stop using energy. I also run tactikill on my gun and battery cell to help it charge faster. I'm working on a video that covers this indepth as well as how to slingshot from anywhere. Should be out in the near future, for now there is a few more videos I have on the grappling hook that may shed some light on some things till the next video comes out. Gl.

Tacti kill is not necessary if you disengage your hook and don't waste your charge when not needed. If you are looking to practice I would use it with power cell so you have it available as often as possible. I would change tactical to a paddle so it is easily available le and allow you to keep both thumbs on the sticks to help maneuver.

I am running tactikill but I'm also disengaging the hook manually so I don't waste the charge after getting momentum towards where I aim it.
