In case anyone’s wondering why he’s playing in Mandarin it’s because certain parts of the game require dialogue to get past it and Mandarin is spoken faster than English.

by the way in "The ark" (1:16:50) you can get the malta behind the draconis before commander briggs says "All callsigns, clean up hostiles and rendezvous at the Draconis" or right after barker is done talking (since you are visibly in mandarin to save time)

Awesome run Mr. Mayo. On the topic of stick drift; having soft springs and a small/no deadzone are great for control but will pretty much always drift especially if the controller is tilted. That being said the bumpers have a tendency to quit or fall off.

It's a testament to how BS master speed runs are in this game when there can be so many mistakes/deaths, and you can still beat the previous WR by over 4 minutes. But that kinda makes me excited to see a TAS speed run of the game in master, just to see how fast it's theoretically possible to clear. Also, good work of course! Always love seeing you break records!

The arena part at 32:10 took me about 3 or 4 hours to complete when I first played on master difficulty. currently playing on master the second time and got through it fairly quickly (for a casual playthrough). Still don't understand air strafing and I don't think that being on controller helps me

master doesn't increase your damage. it only increases the amount of enemy inflicted and environment inflicted damage you take.

I did a master mode speed run with evolved mechanics and let me tell you I felt so much smoother then normal not only that I beat my speed run on normal I got 3:45:23 on normal and got 3:39:21 on master it was insane

the game's never been dead lol, on all platforms there's still plenty of thousands of people online. a game being dead for multiplayer means that there's not enough people playing to be able to queue up in a server, and/or where it takes an absurd amount of time to find a server. titanfall 2 has had some longer queue times in its history, but it's never qualified (or even come that close for that matter) as actually being a dead game. things like it coming onto steam a few months back has even breathed some new life into the pc playerbase.
