Tempered plating is good but imo inferno shield or wildfire launcher is just better. The one gives you more survivability because you have the thermal shield up for much longer and wildfire launcher just helps with the incendiary traps. Tempered plating also gives the player a false sense of security since most scorches with tp would charge you with his thermal shield which is very bad considering that scorch is slow as hell. I suggest you slowly get used to not getting killed by your fire or damaged because not only can you get more value out of the first two kits I mentioned but you can arguably do a lot more damage with them I mean literally inferno shield buffs the duration and the damage by 15% I think it melts through legions

@@Moeru_Gatsu I wish that kit was good but the thermite doesn’t last more than a second which does negligible amount of damage. I mean you can go for it if you want I won’t judge you but sacrificing more survivability and damage for a chance to do a little more damage is just not worth it imo

Whats funny is even tempered plating you still occasionally will take a tic or two or damage from your thermite which isn't much but still kinda dumb. Although, tbh i think they should've gave scorch temp plating by default or make it full immunity to all fire simply because it would make scorch v scorch fights funny because you'd just have to beat each other to death
