When you play the campaign for the umpteenth time, you kinda start wanting to see what happens when you don’t say anything at all. Besides, not saying anything makes it look like Jack accepted that BT was going to die (which fits, I guess)

Honestly this one hurts more for me because when he says trust me he ends up doing something good, maybe epic or something that will save you both. Yea one time he scrificed himself giving the arc but he knew he could be revived by getting the core. This time around he says goodbye because he knows he cannot be saved but he has to do it to save the pilot. Ofc this is just an opinion and i cannot tell or claim what out of those two phrases would hurt more for all the other titanfall players. I just thought about it a bit and decided to kinda share my view

Like the AI fragment in his helmet isnt sure why it's in a helmet instead of a titan and is trying to reach out to the person he trusts for help. And that it's in binary, not Morse code, but that's more of a trivia fact.

“Goodbye, Jack” is the only time BT actually says just Jack. He would either say Jack Cooper with his full name or just Pilot. This time he just said Jack. New edit: the actual first time he called Cooper by his name rather than Pilot was after he inserted BT’s data core.

This is my interpretation If you choose a line, it interprets that Jack still has hopes that he and BT can still go home despite BT's crazy idea. If you did not choose a line, it means that Jack's hope of getting out of their miserable situation is lost and knows that he and BT will not go home alive.

You know, the devs killing off BT was sad but in a way, a good idea, Respawn made you grow attached to this character in lots of ways like the time he saved you from falling off the cliff before you would fight Richter. As well as the funny conversations between you and BT. Them killing him in the end does say that all good things have to come to an end and this death was very emotional both to Cooper and to the player. Not many games do deaths like this well while some like Titanfall 2, Halo Reach and Persona 5 do it perfectly. Tbh this is one of my favourite parts of the game because it is emotional and you feel the same way the character does and that is how you make a good character death, make you feel the same as the character witnessing it.

This is the only ending. But what they are talking about is that if you don’t use the dialogue popup at the end, BT will say “Goodbye, Jack.” instead of “Trust Me”

@Dayshanthesheep no, the secret part is that BT says goodbye instead of the normal trust me, the reason for this is that this is apparently in master mode, so the Gabe if acknowledging that you know what is going to happen

I like this end of the story, because I like to think that jack simply passes out. It would be fitting, as BT tells him "goodbye" as if he wishes jack could hear him at the moment. He normally tells jack "trust me" like he's trying to comfort jack (very true in most cases, every time jack's been told to trust bt, he'd been stressed out. I think bt can detect it if im not wrong, heart rate increase or something, or just the literal link to the pilot) but as jack has passed out, there's no need for comfort, and BT's actual feelings are shown for the first and last time

this diologue was not chosen because bt had previusly lost the capability to contoll the chasis and if he said that cooper would rather die with him than to live BT knowing this because of the link did not say anything about protocol 3 allowing him to save his pilot even after his death he even calculated the debris and the probability of coop making it and acted on it i just wish we could generate BT or remake him since he is in a few of the shipping containers in apex or something i didnt play it nor got the easter egg myself
