yea but he is immune to critical hits and also has an ability that blocks damage entirely for a limited time.

Swamp Fox yes but that ability runs out, can be destroyed by things like arc rounds amd smart core, and can only block where scorch is looking. Ronin on the other hand has none of those issues as well as blocking his critical spot revgardless of titan kit

I run tempered playing with Turbo Engine. Make it easy for you to be SUPER AGGRESSIVE and rush with Papa. Bit tricky when you need be defensive

Tempered plating is the way to go with scorch since the buff. It's allows you to stand on your own termite. This can be useful on the defensive: Raise your shield and drop a canister. It will ignite automatically. With a smoke, the fire won't be even visible. That ronin will never know what hit it!

No; the shield will ignite it. Let's say that you face another scorch with higher health that tries to melt you with its shield. You raise yours and drop a couple of canister while standing your ground. It will be its shield vs your shield plus two canister. The damage of the canisters stack. The smoke could hide the fire to someone willing to withstand the smoke for a short time to get a kill. I have destroyed a full health scorch this way being only one bar health.

Do you use overcore on scorch in addition to the tempered plating? Cause I switched it up with turbo boost and it works even better to close gaps in between you and your enemy. Though, I am willing to try new things if you guys suggest :)
