At this point, griefers like Quinn should be punished. I like that they are trying to make a difference, and cracking down on this behavior to a top player that is toxic regularly would be a good signal to the community that it is unacceptable. Also I feel that players that get communication bans should be unable to queue for ranked until the mute is removed because it is kind of a punishment to that players team in a way.

He's a pro player. He is a strong contender for the best mid player at the moment. He views pubs as practice for his job. If he thinks that his team is not taking the game as "seriously" as he does, then he wants the game to be as over as quick as possible so he can get into a new game where it is taken seriously to practice more. This lets him get more games in per day, and it must be at least somewhat effective given his success this year. That isn't to say it's the only valid mindset towards pubs, but it's definitely valid, albeit somewhat alien to non pro players, and more of a job than a recreation.
