Honestly, the best reaction to any movie that I have ever seen on KZbin. Both of you we so involved in the story and characters. It made this a joy to watch. The ships designer Thomas Andrews gave the ship 1 hour and 30 minutes at best to live In the end it took her 2 hours and 40 minutes almost double the amount of time. The water temperature was -2 Celsius it killed some people almost instantly due to cardiac arrest at best people can live for 10/15 minutes in water that cold. Ive put my hands in water in the extact same temperature and I couldn't feel my hands after just 10/15 seconds i can't imagine putting my whole body in water that cold i can't bare to imagine what thise poor souls went through . The final hymn the band plays us called nearer my god to thee though i don't think this version was played i think it was either the version used in a night to remember or the Methodist version. Every year on April 15th at 2:10am i play nearer my god to thee with my violin.

Fact: William Murdoch did not shoot himself or others. In fact people said that he was calm and helpfull on the night Titanic sank. James Cameron (the director) later apologized to William Murdochs family for the way he wrongly portraied him in this movie. Rest in peace William Murdoch and all the other people who died on this night 😢❤

@@johnshepard8556 Was there even an officer who shot people and then himself? I am glad Cameron apologized, though there should be an advisory at the end clarifying that the portrayal of Murdoch was fictional.

I'm in the US. This movie was very big at the time. It was often sold out. We went to a multiplex and it was showing it on three screens and still we ended up having to buy tickets to a pretty late showing and coming back three hours later. I liked it of course, but all the hype over it almost got kind of sickening, but I can see why so many people were going crazy seeing it two or three times. Only a few hollywood movies were that big in my life time. Like "Star Wars" from 1977. Maybe "Avatar" was another one. That's about it. Sure movies sell out, but these were on another level.

a horror movie for guys, a romance/borderline porno film for girls 😭😂 so the old woman... she's happily married, raises a family, has the entire world handed to her on a platter, yet when she dies she chooses to spend eternity with some guy she knew for 2 days?

no one is forcing you to watch this movie if you hate it so much. the ppl in this reaction appreciated the romance. two ppl having strong emotions towards each other that are heightened by a high stress traumatic situation is not a porno lmao. also she can still love her current husband but have strong feelings about jack. he was probably her first love, and first love has a big effect of ppl, and the titanic sinking would probably be one of the biggest moments in her life. go watch a fast and furious movie if you don’t want romance
