Mr Coaster, great Vid once again. I don't know if I am the only one, but every time I watch a Titanic movie I always hope that it misses the iceberg and doesn't sink.

Another enjoyable vlog. The museum looks like a good place to visit but I would probably need to set aside a couple of hours to go round it all and take in the dark ride. There's so much nautical history in that area of Belfast.
@Coaster_CrazyАй бұрын
Tbh I was there longer than I thought I would be and still loads of other things to see in the area

Very nice andy it was an important thing for you to do and i can see it ment a lot i wonder if you go back in time would you love to go back to 1911 and see it for yourself . Thanks 4 sharing shame you wasnt able to film inside 💠 mesueum cheers hope u catch up with your other 50 vlogs edits lol

If I had a Time Machine I’d definitely go and see Titanic being built as many people would have done at the time as it was the biggest moving object thing ever built back then

Nicely done Andy. Shame that the docks are filled in though. I thought it would be wider that it is

Wonderful vlog. Even with the filming rules you get a real taste of the place! Great stuff. Oh, and btw it's "SS", not "S&S" Nomad - it's not a shot tower... 😉🤣

really enjoyed this vlog and the vlog of the hotel. Did you get chance to see the titanic exhibition at the Birmingham NEC earlier this year? It was fascinating , I know its at Leeds next year not sure if it anywhere else in UK
@Coaster_CrazyАй бұрын
No I didn’t even know they was on however I’ve seen a couple of the exhibitions before, one in Las Vegas about 9 years ago

Loved this vlog. Oh yeah i forgot you cant film inside, but I dont remember that spinning ship at the end from last time i was there, looks like i'll have to back again to see what else is new. It definitely is an emotional place to visit, just the history of it all is absolutely fascinating. I still have my Titanic museum teddy bear x
@Coaster_CrazyАй бұрын
Gutted I was told I couldn’t film as I did some research before my visit and I watched a couple of vlogs and they filmed inside the whole museum
@xChuChux911ChuАй бұрын
@@Coaster_Crazy yeah ive always thought it odd when you can take pics but not video. I guess maybe the others had permission, but either way its still not fair x

There is also a replica of the Titanic grand stairs in the museum , i think you have to pay extra to see that
@Coaster_CrazyАй бұрын
Yeah I did mention that, you can have weddings and afternoon tea there but it’s not apart of the normal experience
@frankiewilde7791Ай бұрын
Hope you got to visit Thompson Dry Dock too where they fitted out the Titanic too. Nice vlog, I never knew about the details of the ship layed out in the ground on the slip way. Belfast is a great place to visit.

Oh I didn’t know that but I will be going back again soon as there’s loads to see in Belfast

@@Coaster_Crazy You can fly from Bristol into Belfast city airport which is almost beside Titanic museum

Andy , i know your mad into cranes and loved the samson and goliath , theres a few youtube videos showing on top of them and in the operators cab , the cab is the little thing hanging at an angle over the front , go down a little stairs into it
@Coaster_CrazyАй бұрын
I will have a look thanks

Great video, however they didn’t fill in the dry docks, those are the slipways where Titanic and Olympic sat and later slipped into the water to be moved to the dry dock (Thompson dock) farther along the shipyard for fitting. Also titanic Belfast was never officially called museum, it’s an experience, that’s why you wont find many artefacts. In 2016 it won the accolade of world’s top tourist attraction

Can I ask what airport do you fly into and how far is this away from the airport. Do you need a hire car or can we get there by bus or taxi. Cheers.

Watch the previous Bristol to Ireland travel vlog in the series !! I flew into Dublin airport from Bristol and I hired a car for 3 days and drove up to Belfast !! Saying that Belfast City Airport is in the dockland area so you could get a taxi ticket Titanic Quarter

If you look at the museum on google earth it is actually the points of a compass , there is a circle marked on the ground around it
