Your model is truly museum quality. My question is, how do you build a model this detailed from scratch? How do you custom build all the parts? In any case, outstanding work! :)

Thanks Ron, The detail comes from many years of study, nearly 30 years and several test models to perfect techniques. Some pieces, such as cargo cranes are tiny models in themselves while bollards are cast from resin after building a master mould. Research and practice is the key.

I must say the person who built this model has accomplished as formidable an achievement as the original builders of the ship itself. Ship building had progressed to a very high level by 1912. It's easy to understand the confidence the ships builders had and their giving life saving equipment an after thought. Who could have ever conceived what would happen to this ship? It also puts in sharp perspective how powerful the faces of nature are. Just a glancing blow to an iceberg destroyed this vessel. Never underestimate the forces of nature. It's also amazing the keen interest so many people have in the ship. It's impossible to congratulate you enough on a job well done. I wish the real ship were still extant just so people could go on board and explore every square foot of it. What a fascinating experience that would be.

A very fine model of RMS Titanic! Meticulously detailed, it's a great credit to you sir. I loved the accompanying music too, Dvorak Symphony No 9 "From the New World". Very appropriate, but so tragic she never arrived at the New World. It's amazing the power of the Titanic story, though tragic and profoundly sad, to capture the imaginations and emotions of people all over the world. I think she'll still live in people's minds a thousand years from now.

I was 7 years old when Ballard and team found the wreck. I must have watched the National Geographic film a dozen times or more. I was absolutely captured by it all. This music was on there, fabulous homage!

From 3 teras im building big scale 2 3 meters long titanic ship from paper...it was never so detailed until i used ur vid for details ... gud work man continue and u might be fous for this(more famos than now)

Absolutely Fantastic !!! Everything looks Right On. You should have filmed a shot of the whole thing from the side. Quite a bit of Titanic models get the (hull) bow wrong. From what I can tell (kinda hard to see from your filming angles), yours looks Great. Again.... Absolutely Fantastic !!! (Can only imagine how nice it would be to sit back with a beer and just gape.....)

What an absolutely stunning model of the tragic ship, my late father passed on his love of most things maritime after serving in the Royal Navy and he as I had such pride in the products these small islands produced. His last ship was HMS Belfast hint, hint, what a lovely model that would make.

Jason, I've always wanted to scratch build a titanic model. Your model is one that all others will be measured by. I'm looking for plans on a 1/100 scale and completely lost when it comes to figuring out where or how to create the massive amount of machinery than you have on your ship. Ill have to collect a massive amount of data and research to understand what each and every piece is and there function. Any help from you is deeply appreciated. Awesome model. Can i just point out some updates to future modellers.....F,scle and poop decks aswell as both well decks were decked with pitch pine and passenger areas were yellow pine which is spot on the colour you have in this model, but the pitch pine decking is considerably darker and can be seen in ariel video/photos of olympic. It has a higher resin impregnated into it for harder wear. Also the Bridge windows, the two outer last ones are angled back slightly which is the start of the sweep of the bridge wing. It comes from updated cad plans and is confirmed in high quality pics of the bridge windows.
