@@jis87BE ... bit heavy on the all caps there buddy. Celine and Sissel are two very different types of vocalists. Apples and oranges. Avoid comparison. Appreciate talent. Celine even paid a salute to Sissel by doing her own version of this melody. It wasn't the same. But it wasn't bad.

AGREE 100%!! Titanic is NOTHING without her vocals... I'm wondering why they didnt let her sing "my heart will go on" instead of a stupid pop singer, aka celine dion...
@danielbenitez69856 жыл бұрын
Sissels voice is echoed in the studio version of this. Nobody's voice has a natural echo. Celine's vocals are all natural without enhancements of any sort. Sissel may have angelic head voice but she could not power belt and sing MHWGO with as much power as Celine Dion.. thats why Celine did MHWGO and Sissel just did the intro. It's actually MHWGO that became the 2nd highest selling female single in history. The song that everybody on the planet wish they could sing. Let Sissel sing the soft intro... but leave the mighty power ballad to Queen Celine!

I love both versions of this song. They add different touches. Celine sings the song very passionately and to me, that represents Jack and Rose’s love as they went through the events of the movie. Sissel’s version is almost ghostly, in my opinion, which fits since the main plot of the movie is Rose looking into her past and revisiting all these ghosts. Both are hauntingly beautiful and perfect. ❤️
