The legendary ship that has been laid to rest shall never be forgotten. I can't believe they all thought she was unsinkable, not even the largest of ships or the well maintained of ships are unsinkable. Whoever sung this must've made it for the Titanic Movie or for the 100th anniversary when they made Titanic 2.

Actually, neither the White Star Line nor Harland and Wolf claimed she was unsinkable. The “unsinkable Titanic” came from a newspaper iirc

Not exactly. 1496 souls were lost. Also it says Murdoch ordered ‘full astern!’ Like seen in the movie, but in reality, he ordered ‘full stop!’ And when the iceberg hit, like seen in the movie, he ordered ‘hard to port!’ To swing the ship around

This is one of the better songs about Titanic, and is fairly historically accurate, except for the common myths like they believing she was unsinkable (neither WSL nor H&W claimed that) and that she was trying to get the Blue Ribbon from Cunard (WSL had no ambition for the Blue Ribbon and preferred larger more luxurious ships than Cunard. The Olympic class were a few knots slower than the BR holders at the time, Cunards Lusitania and Mauritania)

To the poster of this video, 1,500 , and it took 5 years not 4 were lost and her top speed was 21 knots, not 23 knots can you please fix those three mistakes please???! The ship was the most expensive ever built back then the white star line spent a huge sum of money to build her, to fit her out cost even more, to make her the most luxurious vessel afloat , its not fair that they spent a huge amount of money on her and all of it wound up on the bottom of the ocean in 4 days to avoid that from happening again they modified her sisters and each could stay afloat up to 6 compartments flooded they sealed them at the top and raised the bulkheads and put enough lifeboats to accommodate every one on board ship on board the remaining two sisters also had a watertight inter skin to protect the engine rooms and the boiler rooms and updated the pumps to pump the water out if any of the engine rooms or boiler rooms could be pumped out in any case. Rip to rms titanic and britannic both were lost one on her maiden voyage to new York and rms / hmhs Britannic was lost in world War 1 due to hitting a mine. i will always remember titanic 401 and Britannic 433 the two tragic sisters whose lives were cut short
