Im not sure about wows or wts case, but in wot, certain maps based on areas in the war have been removed from the game, but the tank are all old enough to not pertain to the conflict

I think they did it because tank is symbol of war. Perhaps they will bring it back when world calms down. Its strange that they removed it, because there are other games where symbols of war still exist. Like brawl stars, theres guns and users kill each others with them. Tank in Hcr2 cant even shoot. Im sorry but Fingersoft’s “reason” to remove tank from events just honestly isn’t credible, at least for me. Tank just doesn’t perform in terms of the game physics for it to be related to a real life one. Why just don't fingersoft remove the skin that inspired to the Ukraine war, HOWEVER they didnt add Halloween skin, Christmas and other like vip or premium.Though it's frustrating to see tank getting removed, I cannot get any thoughts about ending of tank, we can know it got removed, but we cannot do anything😞.

Without watching, the reason why fs doesn't include tank in team events anymore (and I assume do much for it at all) is due to the war in ukraine (this was their reason, it's real), and tank being in the shop or team events would supposedly "remind players of the war". In my opinion, this is pretty stupid, because tank is a literal cartoon tank that can't even fire anything. If this kind of thing is so "bad", then I guess fs should just remove the Drafted skin, since it's a literal soldier. Look, I'm not trying to offend anyone, and if you genuinely get reminded of the situation or get flashbacks or something then I'm sorry, but this is my opinion, and I think the tank situation is quite dumb. #bringbacktank

It doesn´t have mastery because of the war and, as its a global game, it would harass a few ucranians. Its use rate is also very low. Probably it will only get back to the shop and events a while after the war ends, which wont be that soon.
