Movie tickets are like 10-15 dollars. If you have a job, that is nothing. Watching movies in the theaters also helps everyone involved in the production of the anime. More income = higher chances of full anime adaptation while retaining its high quality visuals. Only petty people would honestly complain

In season 2 they decided to insert the episode 1 that centers rengoku before he aboard the mugen train and episode 2-7 is the recap for the mugen train after its for those who haven't got to watch the movie and episode 8 is an hour special for the first episode of entertainment district arc
