Amazing build, as with everyone here I would love to know more about the specs. I can infer a lot of things from the video that I'll definitely be incorporating into my own design. I like your use of two tones for the wood and the range markings!

Do you have technical drawings, schematics, plans or something similar so I could make one too?

I love the way every one of these types of videos breezes over the making of bellows. A picture of a bellows pattern laid over some black material..........Done. I think we have been. and the bellows on the finished camera look manufactured to me.

Well, it is manufactured. By me. Or why would you think anything else?

Any chance of a video showing us how you make your bellows. They are notoriously hard to make which is the reason people generally make sliding box home made cameras, where one box slides into the other for focus. Just because bellows are so hard to make. a video would be very gratefully viewed by a lot of camera buffs, I look forward to seeing it. Thanks

You are right that making the bellows was the most difficult part of the build, but not impossible and many DIY camera builders have done it. That is why I made the bellows first and than basically built the camera around it. I used almost the same technology as Geof Mullbery shows in kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2eznqurabWAn9E. That is using contact glue in spray and ribs temporarily held together with a paper tape. And although the result surprise me how good it looks, I am quite disappointed how stiff the bellows is (especially in low temperatures) and how thick it is when fully compressed. I imagine commercially available bellows are much better in that regard and would allow considerably more compact camera when folded. It was also the reason why I attempted once more using a different technology, but that bellows was a total failure and I gladly used the first one.

@@colinwatkins5321 actually bellows are extremely simple and easy to make. it just takes patience. its a long process of lining things up properly and then the folding is what usually takes the longest, but only a few hours really. you can easily make a 8x10 bellows in a day if you have the materials on hand.

Hi Titio, Great looking camera and nicely made. I'm looking to build one myself, since the brand cameras are no longer affordable. Is it possible that you can help me with some more details of your construction.

I'd like to be able to make a camera like this, but I can't find clear plans anywhere.

Did you build this camera from plans, or did you reverse engineer an existing camera? I am wanting to build an 8x10 and your camera is a great design. Can you point me in the direction of some plans or information to build one? thanks!
