I really wanted to try one of these bags, but I didn't want to spend the $300 to get one. So I built one. It's pretty easy to do once you realize the spring on these bags are just a repurposed garage door springs. After seeing yours in action, I'm glad I didn't buy one. The spring on mine is closer to the middle giving the upper section more travel allowing me do more defense practice. Thanks for the great review.

The only issue with that spring is this. The springs are right on top of each other so every time you hit the bag you'll heard the springs reconnect, the fierce speed bag or w/e has a gap between the springs so you don't hear a thing other than the sound of hitting the bag, oh and the gapped compression springs definitely work way better. That vibration you were getting all the way to the base is from that spring you're using. You wouldn't even see the bottom of the unit move at all if you had the correct spring. The spring with the gap always allows for less restriction, takes a lot more of the vibration better than the current spring you have on there and it's faster. It also allows everything to move freely and more accurately.

Fortunately the ball is made of solid foam, so it shouldn’t pop because it’s not inflatable. With that being said, title doesn’t sell just the ball itself, so if you needed a replacement then you’d have to get something custom made
