It hurt to watch the trunk get cut! I know it's a little late now but I think you could have kept the trunk mount and added support wires going from the spoiler forward and attach near the hatch hinges. That way the wing mounts take vertical load only and the wires take out the rearward load. That's all it looked like from an engineering point of view. I should be able to see you run a few events this year and I'm looking forward to it. You're a big inspiration for turning my Miata into a track car.
