I got the Nintendo Wii for my birthday in 2011, and although I got the Wii U a year later I still mostly played Wii games on it. My cousins would come to my house every weekend between 2013-2015 and would spend hours and hours on this game, even dad joined in occasionally… I even got Mario Kart 8 day one, that’s how much we all loved Mario Kart, it was the best time of my life. Now they’re adults with jobs and have no interest in me whatsoever, and when I rarely see them they don’t even greet me, it’s like they don’t remember the times I cherish so much. I’m almost a adult now and my life is getting worse, my dad is very ill and we never spend time together, my parents are always fighting… I have no friends and suffer with anxiety. I’m not looking for sympathy or anything but please spend as much time possible with the loved ones around you, nothing stays the same forever.
