There was a TV show, but it's style was quite a bit different then either the GBC game or the card game. The TV show was more a generic kids anime style then the almost Magic the Gathering sort of look that the game had.

super fun CCG from the late 90s early 00s. 11 different regions based on various biomes and a 12th that was corrupting them all. each region had its own unique mechanics and playstyle that evolved with each expansion. i still have all my cards.

Then the GBC game was created to promote the cards sometime in the early 2000s. Then in the late 2000s a TV series was created. It was unfaithful to the cards and the video game as it changed too much and had edutainment bits shoehorned in.

I had the hardest time finding the original versions of these songs on KZbin. Turns out the "Title Theme" is called "Overture" and I didn't immediately recognize it because is started differently compared to how it starts in your cover (probably because the description for that video said it was the credits), while the "Battle Theme" is called "Boss"... presumably because it's the boss theme? Either way, it was confusing as all Hell, you REALLY dug deep with this particular cover.
