I sympathize with the large head problems. I didn't know mine was out of the norm until I had to buy a helmet. Large size? Nope. Extra large? Juuust barely and it depended on the brand of helmet as well there. Unfortunately did not translate to intelligence for me. I'm pretty dumb.

Would I prefer to watch a human or a machine playing chess? Silly question - humans are much more fun and instructive precisely because they are fallible. I enjoy watching you play, Simon, whatever the outcome.

The heat is propably a factor, exhausting you after couple of strong games. It can really affect mental focus, I've noticed it personally many times. Living in Finland I can't stand any heat for longer times. I can never fully adapt to it, unlike some people with mediterranean roots.
