@@The80sWolf_ he was a great tag specialist in an era when Vince was splitting up all the teams to try to find his new Michaels. The Reverend D'von gimmick might have worked better later on - as a manager who can occasionally get involved. Have him be that kind of southern preacher, with the Deacon Batista type guy as the actual wrestler, doing his bidding. Cos D'von's actually a good worker, he could readily have worked the hell out of a Virgil/diBiase type angle with his muscle coming to realise that the preacher is not practicing what he preaches and turning face on him. Could you imagine how great D'von's 'twitch bump' would look if he was doing it as an incredulous heel manager consumed by religious fervour?

The Dudleys didn't get House show title runs (a la the Steiners). They didn't get a forced tag team finish they didn't need (a la Anderson and Blanchard). And they sure as hell didn't get a ventriloquist dummy spouting instructions to them (LoD).

Sorry, the Road Warriors didn't need to put women through tables to get over.

2:05 I disagree with you guys. From a WWE standpoint, yes, Dudley Boyz were bigger than the Road Warrior's, but you guys sold out your brand to Vince. So of course Vince had the power to push you guys over. While the Road Warriors brand is still bigger than the Dudley Boyz. Road Warrior's never sold their brand to Vince and could of gone over to Japan and made a boat ton of money. ECW Dudley Boyz wouldn't been able to. The best analogy here is, the Dudley Boyz are like a college football team that needs a power 5 conference to stay alive while the Road Warrior's are like Notre Dame an independent football team that doesn't need a conference to stay alive. There brand name carriers them. The crowd put the Road Warrior's over and didn't need Vince to carry them. The Dudley Boyz will never have that mystique!

Bubba, name me one act that reached the top status that wasn't created by Vince??? What about a "certain murderer"???? What about Rob Van Dam????
@cognitivedissonance84066 жыл бұрын
kenterminatedbygoogle They didn’t stay at the top Van Dam had three weeks, Benoit had six months and his reign was booked poorly Bubba is absolutely right

@@cognitivedissonance8406 What about Flair?? He was in the top tier in the WWF for a few years and he wasn't made by Vince??? Plus, u mentioned that Benoit was in the top tier for six months and his reign was booked poorly. Why did Bubba mentioned Jericho?? His world title runs were not that great.

When was this filmed? Recently with a outsider pushed to the top is AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, and Nakamura. Back then Chris Jericho, Goldberg, Tazz (altho his push died quick), RVD
