MarleyThirteen I remember my dad telling me at the time Darren Bent (The former Sunderland Play at the time) posted his gamer tag for xbox on Twitter. so I searched for it and found he was playing mw2 so me and my friends joined his session in progress/match and found that he was boosting guns with a friend of his on xbox haha.

I have always tried to guess a player's skill based off their calling card/title and emblem combination, with accuracy rates exceeding 12%.

MarleyThirteen Indeed, in a lobby of 12 I am almost guaranteed to accurately determine the skill of as many as 2 players based just off the aforementioned title and emblem combination. Intriguing stuff really. In bo3's case: Black market calling card = window licker incapable of attaining a decent calling card that requires a level of skill above that of a beached whale. Any dark ops challenge excluding all the luck based ones that my grandma's slipper could earn = someone who means business. Thanks for replying as well, keep up the good work :)

I had the spinning Nuke emblem with a flashy title. I never boosted in MW2, in fact I actively seeked the boosters out in FFA with a Thumper.

Idk why but MW2 emblems felt special. If a guy had a Golden emblem of any weapon and was using that weapon, you'd know for sure that guy knows what he's doing. And I remember the General title + Collateral emblem was what the "pro" quickscopers would always have on, for some reason. Also, passing on the STD title with a knife. Good times!

I still remember my first S&D game. It was simply to try and get that Makarov emblem. I think it was just be the surviving member on my team. I got a message when there was just 2 of us left telling me to stop camping. I let him know what was going on and I didn't get a message back. I did die not long after though. So I had to go to game 2 to get it.

I actually completed every single challenge in this game legitimately. Took 6 years of off and on playing and an outrageous amount of patience (5000 helps with the Stinger and 1000 headshots/multikills with every launcher), but it stands as my single greatest gaming achievement ever.

I unlocked the “The Bounty Hunter” title. It’s for stealing 50 enemy care packages. If I remember correctly. Unlocked it like nine or ten years ago and never changed it. It’s fitting because that’s what I do for a living.

Rewatching this classic Marley vid because I'm bored at work. What you said at the end got me thinking Marley, "it gave you a bit of personality online," the irony is you can customise yourself even more now but no one really gives a fuck. Sometimes less is more. No one cares because everything takes for ever to do. The difference is you unlocked those titles in mw2. In the new games, you get them from supply drops where you can also get better/cooler looking weapons so emblems and titles don’t compare well with that

I distinctly remember mostly using Headrush w/ Marathon Pro emblem because I used the SPAS-12 so much and didn't want to give away the fact that I was a FUCKING SURGEON with it.
