I'm 65 and live in Australia. It's beautiful to hear the word of God as I believed it as a child. So many sit on the fence now. I always thought concerning the rapture, people believed they would be taken before the tribulation, may have got that from Revelation 3 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. When Jesus says in Revelation that He will keep us from the hour of temptation, that doesn't mean we won't go through the tribulation that will come upon the earth. He is going to try the hearts of those that are on the earth at that time - including Christians. If you are in Christ at that time, He will preserve you from the temptation of giving in to the pressure of taking the mark, or betraying loved ones while in prison. Luke 21:36 refers to escaping the snares referred to in the verses above it. In the Last Days men's hearts will grow fearful and hard; even Christians will be caught up in the cares of this world. Some will compromise and take the mark because they are fearful of losing their jobs, their homes, their bank accounts, or of going to prison for their faith. The verses that put the nail in the coffin regarding the secret rapture are Matthew 24: 29-31. Jesus says quite clearly that immediately AFTER the tribulation He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds...... Weren't the children of Israel in Egypt when the plagues fell? Didn't Noah and his family ride through the flood in the ark? Get in the ark of safety.....apply the blood of the Lamb to the doorposts of your heart and He will give you the grace to come through the tribulation safely to the other side. Yeshua Jesus Christ is our great hope and He is all we will ever need.

I’m so looking forward to being “caught up” But i’m either going to be caught up and not die a physical death (mystery) OR in the next 30 years or less when our Lord God calls me home i will die a physical death but Either way i cannot wait to be in His presence for all of eternity. Matthew 13:30 says, "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the the reapers, Gather ye together FIRST THE TARES, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." With respect and to clarify what I was saying in reference to your comment . . . yes, the tares and the wheat will be growing together . . . as is happening right now! Then, at the time of the harvest, which is the end of the world (the end days, which are currently upon us), the tares will be removed BEFORE the wheat. Hence, there is NO EVIDENCE for a rapture.

I believe there is enough scripture to support the idea of a pre tribulation rapture. There will be many still come to know Jesus as their Savior during the tribulation so I believe the scripture concerning the tribulation is for those saints. It is likely that accepting Jesus Christ and following him during the time of the tribulation will cause these individuals to be killed. Living for Christ during the time of tribulation will require more strength and faith than today due to the persecution that will be in that time.

It is not realistic or practical that I move to the country. I am 61 years old and am completely on my own. God has provided wonderfully for me, but it took a long time for me to get it together and totally surrender to Him. Unless He had another plan for me, I will likely have to stay in my condo and continue to trust in Him. It’s just not practical for everyone to move. But, we can still prepare and we can encourage those around us.

It's called the "blessed hope", not failure and destruction. If people remain for the great tribulation they will experience God's wrath and they aren't saved today. Are you aware that God "divorced" Israel for her spiritual adultery? We are not appointed unto wrath. Scripture is very clear on this matter. The true believer will not be here when the antichrist is revealed. Do not confuse tribulation saints who refuse the mark with the raptured. The Tribulation is when God turns his attention to the Jews and they will recognize their Messiah. Pray, study, there's a reason this is called our blessed hope. This isn't a salvation issue, but understanding the times in Truth is essential. Prep and prepare, regardless. Remember there is a difference between the Son of God and The Son of Man. The son of God is the son of goodness. Jesus Christ represented that power of goodness through faith, healing miracles, mercy and grace. Now the son of man will judge according to what he believes to be just or fair. He will divide. Grace & mercy is not entirely within his image/ identity for all. There are 2 Lords, but one is more true to God's Goodness then the other, and that is the Holy Spirit revealed within the Son of God/ Goodness, in Jesus Christ.

Titus, I believe we will go thru tribulation because Jesus said we would. I don't believe we will go thru the wrath of God though. I think we will be raptured before the wrath and when we are gone it will provoke the jews to jealosy. They will realize that we are gone and they are still here. Then I think they will get saved.

I believe you're a good man and that's why I really want you to understand the Truth about what prophecy is saying. Do you see in Matt 13:38 where it says the wheat and tares are the CHILDREN in Christ's KINGDOM? It literally means THE CHILDREN. And it literally means Christ's 1,000 year KINGDOM on THIS earth that begins AFTER the trib, Rev 20:4-6. Do you see the thrones in Rev 20:4? That is the judgment of the nations in Matt 25:31. Where those who are put on His right hand get to stay in His millennial kingdom with Him. So, in essence, His kingdom begins with all "wheat". BUT in that 1,000 years there are going to be CHILDREN born and because of the bad seed that the devil sowed in the garden, it's saying "people will still be people" and so some of those children will be wheat (obedient) and some will be tares (rebellious). So at the end of Christ's 1,000 years the tares will be cast into the fire and the wheat will be raptured up to the New Jerusalem so they can THEN "shine like the sun in the FATHER'S eternal kingdom". Do you see in Zech 8:3-5 where it says there are flesh and blood people in Christ's millennial kingdom? It's not a contradiction of 1 Cor 15:50-54 where flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom OF GOD. They are 2 separate kingdoms 1,000 years apart.

The Bible warns that a bishop (pastor) shouldn't be a novice. I have heard some very good preaching and teaching from young pastors, but they have spiritual wisdom and maturity that goes well beyond their years because you can tell that they have seriously studied God's word. Jesus does NOT return at one of the Trumpets. Look at the wording and position of the angels in Matt 24:31 and those in Rev 7. "THE ANGELS with the great sound of a trumpet" who gather THE MARTYRS out of heaven in Matt 24:31 is describing THE ANGELS who will be receiving Trumpets AFTER Christ's return. Because Jesus returns at the 6th Seal and the angels don't RECEIVE their Trumpets until the 7th Seal tells us two things. That the Trumpets are also a part of God's wrath AND that the 6th Seal and 7th Trumpet CANNOT BE the same event. And they're not!!

That's like thinking letters addressed to someone else in the past or in the future are speaking directly to you specifically. Paul is our Apostle, his ministry is to the gentiles and we are in the church age immediately prior to the "rapture" and great tribulation. Matthew 24:16-22 [16]Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: [17]Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: [18]Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
