Originally, it was going to end with the revelation that Titus' "sitcom" is actually him being locked in a mental hospital room and acting out his life on closed-circuit TV in front of two bored security guards. So, it could have been worse.

I see it like a symbolism of "getting over" his issues -being crazy staying at the bottom of them all. Is positive, it means he can at last let go the past and move on; but it could only happen because he faced it and finally overcame it, so now he can burn it because is part of him and he´s in peace with it. It took time, effort and a lot of events until he could finally "burn that chair". Respect! I love this show. THANKS A LOT ONA!!!

After re watching the show I realized some things. The chair is a big symbol, showing how much bullshit he had to St through then he finaly burned it all away. The light is what it is, click on - another day of bullshit Click off, another night of bullshit Finally the room, it's like his diary/journal. He can say what he wants with no criticism at all.

Fun fact: originally, the show was going to end with the reveal that the black and white room Titus is in is actually the mental hospital room he's in from what happened in this episode and that the series is just him acting out his life for two security guards watching him on a CCTV screen.

After he gets out, he has two kids with Erin and his father dies of cardiac arrest. Then Erin cheats on him, they go through a 2 year divorce that costs him 2 million dollars, his sister commits suicide in her ex's bedroom and he finds a new girlfriend. Are you sure you want a series about that?

@OffeJ83 since seasons 1, 2, and 3 were based on his norman rockwall is bleeding scetch then its safe to assume that if the series was to continue then seasons 4 and 5 (the only reason i theres no 6th is because love is evol was not as long as norman rockwell is bleeding assumedly he would do more scetches in order to base new seasons on) would be based on his love is evol scetch

Actually now that I think about it, I think this show ended just about the right time. He told just about all his stories, this last episode was pretty crazy (almost to ridiculous levels) and I think ending up in the nuthouse seems a fitting end. Especially if you know how things happened since. Aside from his dad, this series was about his relationship with Erin, if you watched Love is Evol, you know the whole story went off in a completely different direction (hoping that sequel happens).

It think a new show might only be depressing. His dad is dead, his sister is dead, Erin left him and yeah he and his girlfriend have been together for awhile, but I think it would lose alot of magic from the original. But seeing him as a dad would be kinda cool.

@SamBrown1900 ... yes he did, but the executives of FOX said that the only way to atract more audience was if Erin and Titus break up, Titus didn't want to do that since he's still married with Erin, he fought for the show but at the end the FOX Network call it off :( ... it was a shame, TITUS was the best show they had.

Oh, he could certainly make something work. But it wouldn't be Titus without Ken. Erin, eh.. she was important to the story, but the girl he gets with after her has an even better personality to use as a character. But the loss of Ken would be too much, I think.

It meant tht he was telling all his stories (episodes) from his mental institution room all the while & when he finally got out after the 3 month (finale) he doesn't want to go back there anymore because as he said "the opposite of fear is not courage but faith". He faced his fear (of becoming crazy like his mother) with courage (all the episodes) but not he can leave it all because he has faith that he won't return, &because he won't return, he doesn't need the crazy chair. thus it burns. IMHO

you got the chair and the lights pretty much but if you watch the one where they are in court for his mom you relize the room is his head and watever he say in there is his inner thought but in that episode when he went to say stuff in his head it came out IRL so its not realy i diariy its just his inner thought a place where he can say wat he wants in his head

I can. It was too much for FOX's censors and Titus did not agree to have him and Erin split up on the show (though a few years after the show was canceled, Erin Carden did divorce Titus. For more info on that, check out his comedy special, "Love is Evol").
